About Vitae

Vitae is a biotechnology development company located in Madison, Wisconsin, founded in 2000 (formerly Micro Agri Systems founded in 1999). Vitae, meaning "life," illustrates the company's focus on the development of advanced technologies for assisted reproduction. Vitae's proprietary technology utilizes micro scale engineering to create microfluidic systems for the improved culture, study, and manipulation of cells and embryos.

To date, Vitae has received two Phase I SBIR awards (USDA, NIH) and two Phase II awards (USDA, NIH).
